Investigating Mathematical Modeling Problem Designing Process of Inservice Mathematics Teachers

In this study, the mathematical modeling process of in-service middle school mathematics teachers who participated in a workshop within scope professional development program were examined. This study is multi-case with participation six (two women; four men) and investigates how handled theoretical knowledge gained during problem designing process. The data consists problems designed by individual interviews. findings show that generally successful transferring their to process, but had some difficulties. Besides, it can be said they overcame these difficulties obtained competence suitable for criteria. results implementation has an important role point view just like theory balance application should established education.
